WHAT WE DO

Detect the presence of live bed bugs and their viable eggs. Our highly trained bed bug detection dog will search and alert upon detection of live bed bugs and their viable eggs.

A comprehensive and highly detailed written report is completed and submitted within 48 hours of the inspection.  (Specific locations of any canine alerts can be verbally communicated at the time of completion of the inspection.)

Our detection team will quickly and discreetly perform inspections without damage to furnishings. Clipper is trained to alert on live bed bugs and their larvae only. He will not confuse evidence of a prior infestation with the presence of live bed bugs. We will help you to be proactive by scheduling routine inspections that work for your schedule and budget.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

Clipper is a toy reward trained dog.

There is much talk in the industry regarding bed bug detection dogs that are food trained making false alerts in the field. Toy driven dogs do not rely on making alerts to be fed.

Clipper loves to work and enjoys his ball as a reward!

Toy driven dogs are considered by many to provide more accurate alerts of live bed bugs and their larvae.

Clipper and Linda are a NESDCA certified Team. NESDCA is a certifying organization assuring the highest quality standards of Scent Detection Canines.

Pest control companies can rely on Clipper K9 to work independently in the field, saving you the cost of sending your employee along with our detection team.

*Clipper K9 is not affiliated with any pest control company.

BED BUGS CAN LIVE ANYWHERE

Bed bugs are confirmed to live in all 50 states.

Bed bugs can live inside kitchen appliances as well as other dark, dry and secure areas. Their habitat is NOT limited to beds and bedding.  Bed bugs do not fly or jump, they crawl. They often get into backpacks, luggage, purses and other items. Bed bugs travel room to room in multi-unit buildings.

BED BUGS DO NOT STARVE

Bed bugs can live for months without feeding. A bed bug will feed on a human host for 5 to 10 minutes, leaving a cluster of small red bites. Bed bugs numb the skin before they bite. Females can lay up to 500 eggs in their lifetime. The life span of a bed bug can be up to 300 days.
